Imagine you’re standing on a packed bus riding home from school one day. The driver is about to make a stop, when all of a sudden a school bus runs through the intersection and rams into the side of your bus. Both buses slam into the side of a building.
Everyone at the scene is screaming, several people were thrown from the buses, and there are a dozen life-threatening injuries. How should first responders react?
That was the dilemma EMT students from across Orange County trained for Tuesday night.
1262 Lettered!!
Friday, August 18, 2006We picked up 1262 from Mincey’s today and boy does it look good. Unfortunately it’s stay at the station this time was only brief enough for a few pictures. It’ll be back home next week.

Madison Co (NC) Paramedic shot
Wednesday, August 2, 2006The following is an email that was forwarded with details about the paramedic that was shot Sunday night (7/30/2006) in Madison County, NC. As of yesterday (8/1) the victim was listed in serious condition at Mission Hospital.

Clint and I spent some time earlier today mocking up the checker board based on design rev v10 (previous design). If you’d like to see it, swing by the station.
1262 will be headed to the radio shop tomorrow (Thursday) evening for radio installation so get there quick!
